I would like to have wireless function for my device

We offer a range of wireless functions for our audible and visual signalling products, depending whether it is for industrial, residential or outdoor setting. Our state-of-the-art wireless technology enables impressive connectivity and range to ensure the product integrity in the toughest environment. We develop everything from the grounds up, so we are fully aware of any bugs or minor tweaks that might affect the performance.

Please feel free to contact us for more information.

How will my goods be shipped?

We offer a variety of choices for shipment via air or sea. We can ship directly via our freight companies or via the freight carrier of your choice.

If you have a hasty deadline, we would suggest air shipment for faster delivery but more costs. On the other hand, sea freight offers slower delivery but more cost savings.

What Frequency is available for your device?

Frequency is rated as the number of pressure variation per second and is measuredin Hertz (Hz). For example, the sound of thunder has low frequency, while whistle has high frequency.

A typical human can hear from 20Hz to 20,000Hz (or 20kHz). This hearing range will narrow as older people tend to lose their sensitivity to higher frequencies.

Human ears are more sensitive to high frequency sounds and thus are often suited for sounds between 2 to 5 kHz. Thus, we typically use this frequency range for our sound solutions.

What sound should I use for my product?

Our audible alarm devices offer a wide range of sound depending on your criteria:

  • Who is the intended audience of the alarm?
  • Continuous or intermittent tone?
  • What sound level do you need to perform the task?
  • Will the environment and setting dampen or amplify the sound level?
  • Are there other sound devices operating nearby?

The appropriate sound device should be developed with the above considerations in mind to achieve optimal performance.

I want to create a customized product.

Yes, we provide original design and manufacturing services to meet your product requirement. We can create and change the shape, size, tone, light, connection mechanism, power, voltage, and various characteristics to meet your use.

We have had successful experience in creating total solutions from scratch or pick up from development stage. We work closely with you throughout the whole process to ensure your needs and requirement are met for the project.

I want very loud siren!

Yes, certain range of our sirens can reach an maximum output of 122dB. We do not recommend sound output louder than that because immediate ear pain could be felt for sound over 130dB.

Permanent eardrum damage and repture could occur to those that are in close vicinity of a 130dB sound device, even for a few seconds.

What is siren with strobe suitable for?

Our strobe sirens combine audio and visual cues together to warn and alert nearby occupants of impending dangers.

It is suitable and may be need for when:

  • Warning others of hearing impairment
  • Facilities requiring low ambient noise
  • Facilities with high ambient noise that requires ear protection
  • Facilities where sound notification may not be suitable (surgery operation, broadcasting, etc.)

What are your sounders/sirens suitable for?

Our range of sirens are suitable for fire warning, industrial signalling and notification, mass evacuation, and many other applications.

Our products can act as standalone products, or be combine to part of an addressable/non-addressable system. We have also designed and produced complete products for our clients. Please feel free to contact us to see how we can meet your needs.

What is a decibel? How is decibel measured?

Decibel is unit measurement of the sound intensity of an electrical signal, measured in logarithmic scale. Thus, a device with 80dB will be 10 times louder than a device with 70dB.

Our siren products range from 80dB to 120dB. Smaller decibels are suitable for notifying pedestrians or warning patrons in office, while louder decibels are suitable for fire and industrial settings.

  • Quiet room - 30dB
  • Normal conversation - 50dB
  • Singing - 70dB
  • Busy traffic - 90dB
  • Jet engine - 110dB
  • Pain Threshold - 130dB

The loudness perceived by the human ear can vary depending on a multitude of factors: promixity from the source, ear sensitivity, humidity, temperature, sound frequency, etc.

Do you offer sirens in different voltage?

Yes, we can personalize voltage input (low voltage siren) according to your requirement. We can also change DC to AC, vice versa, depending on your need. Different voltage input may affect the sound level.

I want my siren/sounder in another color!

Yes, we can change the color of our products to suit your needs, depending on your specifications.

As a general rule of thumb, each color are suited for different application:

  • Red - Fire protection, fire emergency
  • Yellow - Warning
  • Amber - Warning
  • Blue - Household, Office
  • Ivory - Household, office
